Will the Samsung Galaxy S III come with a quad core or a dual core processor in the United States (on Verizon). I thought it was a quad core but Verizon's site indicates it's a dual core.

Quadcore abroad, dual core here in the States.

I think this was pretty much covered a while ago. Dual Core in the US.

The galaxy s III will come with a dual core in the US. The reasoning was that the Samsung exynos quad core processor did not work well with the LTE.

So they opted for a Qualcomm dual core. As far as i know a quad core Samsung exynos won't hit the US until later this year or next, as they are working to get the LTE issues resolved.
