samsung galaxy j3 2017 power button not working?

[Android Central Question]

a few weeks ago my phone somehow got a bit wet (even though it was nowhere near water) and the power button stopped working. after a few hours, it started working again, but about 2 weeks later the button decided not to work and has been like that ever since. i've kept it charging for about 3 weeks now, but the other day it died and i can't turn it back on. what do i do?

Welcome to Android Central! You'll probably have to bring it to a repair shop. Water exposure can cause delayed damage, as corrosion sets in later.
