I'm on the road today. I am coming back from Sacramento. I have been using both my GN and Motorola Xoom (one of the devices that is supposed to have an awesome Motorola radio.)

Well the reason for switching is because my GN that many complain has a horrible Samsung radio has been able to maintain a signal in both 3G and 4G LTE. It shows less bars (which virtually are virtually meaningless) while the Xoom is at or just below full bars.

Well it's going on 5 min while I wait for the Xoom to switch to 3G or reconnect to 4G LTE.

It has been like this all day!

Sent from one of the following: Galaxy Nexus, Bionic or Xoom using Tapatalk.

My Xoom is pretty unreliable when it comes to 3G/4G connectivity after they upgraded it to 4G. I only use the Xoom via tether to my Gnex now... I never turn on it's own 3G/4G anymore.

I think it is the same problem that it seems like a few of the 4G LTE phones are experiencing.
