Came Fed ex today. I really like Seidio products. Getting rid of the speigen Tough Armor...

Tested heartrate, works fine, had to move it around a bit but it got it multiple times.

I wish they'd release the Covert combo I'd order one immediately. Since the Covert Combo starts out with the Surface does your Surface leave enough room for a tempered glass screen protector?

I think so, it looks like the edging of it takes the bevel out.. can't get close enough shots, but here is an attempt.

There seems to be plenty of space in the back so it should allow it to go over a screen protector in the front easily.

One last one really.. A bit of accessory porn.. Installed a flygrip gravity onto the top piece of the case. I did not adhere the bottom piece by cutting the tape protector of the flygrip right at the seam and only revealing the top portion of the flygrip. So far so good.

I taped off the area where the flygrip would go, and used PVC primer and a q tip to apply the primer to the area where the flygrip sticks to the top portion. The seidio has a velvet feeling plastic which I thought it may not stick to. The PVC primer seemed to work great.

From the photos this is another one that goes by the boards for the VzW variant unless you want to modify it. Jeez I could probably modify cases for another year at this rate.

As far as I can see, yes. Microphones, ir port, and speaker are all open.

Sorry, I should have explained. The Verizon Wireless N4 left side mic hole is 3 mm farther out toward the left bottom corner of the housing. VzW is the only carrier with internals to this device that forced the move for the left mic hole. So cases that are cut for the other carriers without an elongated left side mic hole don't work with the VzW variant. Nobody can hear you with the cover on the device. There are a ton of them that we have found so far that don't work for the VzW variant and since hardly any of these manufacturers shows you a shot of the bottom of their cases/covers, it has been lets say costly to figure it out. Any of the Spigens that wrap around the bottom of the N4 don't work, I don't think the Verus will work. The list of cases that won't work appears longer than the list that will at this point.

Really don't like the way a good many of the suppliers have gone about this....sorta' stinks if you ask me. The whole nobody in this industry gives you dims on a case or cover, nobody gives you really accurate information, nobody shows you enough photographic material on their own product for heaven sake really gets trying at times like this when they are letting you down to boot.

Seidio has modified the Surface to accommodate Verizon phones.

Best Buy now has the Seidio Surface w/ holster available for $39.95 which is $15 less than Seidio charges and free shipping. Best Buy calls it their Platinum case/holster. So it's about $20 less for the same thing or like getting the holster for free.

How much slimmer does it feel compared to the tough armor. I also have the tough armor and while I know it won't be protected as well it seems a lot nicer. Tempted to go to best but and pick this up.

I can't compare it to the Tough Armour but it is a very thin case. I like the grip it provides and the kickstand and it definitely is high quality but I'm just waiting for Seidio to release their Convert add on kit which goes on top of the Surface. My guess is the Surface and any case as slim as it offer a very limited amount of drop & impact protection.

Seidio has modified the Surface to accommodate Verizon phones.

According to the Seidio site, only the black case has been modified. The Blue case is still incompatible with the Verizon version of the Note 4.

Has anyone tried NFC tap and pay with this case on installed? I have this case and it does not work for me. I remove the case and it works fine. I believe it has to do with the Kickstand and the magnet to hold it closed. I get an error from Google Wallet when trying to pay with the case installed. Anyone here able to confirm?
