Can people who post please specify if they ordered a black or white phone? Would be helpful to know if any white ones are being shipped or if it's only black. Thanks!!

Pre-order date 9/19/14, Black just got a shipping confirmation with a Fedex 2 day delivery. The phone has been picked up by Fedex, tracking shows it should be in my hands Wednesday by 430pm Woohoo!!

I just got my tracking info ...I ordered mine 9-28-14 I should receive it tomorrow . It was picked up 3:35 pm and is in Tennessee I am in N.C.

Looks like the guy on XDA who said his white shipped was confused. Only his black phone shipped.

Well this was sort of an interesting VzW N4 day for me.
1) called and Customer Service told me mine would be shipping tomorrow not today like so many of the other pre-orders appears to be shipping. But OK, they told me the 23rd. I had no reason to expect better than the 23rd. However I would love to death to see an email show up telling me it is leaving today to arrive tomorrow.
2) My extra battery and charge kit arrived today. Yes there is a clear plastic case for the battery itself and then the charger itself which can also be used as a case.
3) My new Plantronics Bluetooth earphone/mic charge case arrived today although the earphone itself has not arrived as yet. Thought I would get a new one as I expect I will be using Bluetooth more. It was time for an change especially since I simply don't like having them stuffed in my ear for too long. So something with an ear hook is always better for me. I can pop the thing out of my ear canal and still use it at the point when my ear has had enough.
4) Was in the local Best Buy today. They better hustle up and get some accessories in the door. There pantry is bare big time. There is nothing in there for a N4...maybe some microSD cards that will work. That is about it.
5) While I was in there I spotted a Wacom Bamboo Feel for Note that was the last one on the shelf and wildly discounted. Looked like an open box to me. But it was not abused in any way. Had been thinking to myself that I might want an extra stylus possibly with the intention of not having to reach for the dedicated stylus so often. Of course there has been no indication that the Wacom Bamboo would work with the N4. But I figured what the heck...I would buy it....try it on the store demo N4 and return it if it did not work. So the result......The Bamboo Feel for Note does work with the N4. The button works, the tip works...the whole thing works. It does not produce a better fountain pen result than the actual S-pen itself. But it is more comfortable to hold and would give me something I can reach for without digging for the S-pen itself. While the Bamboo did not produce a better fountain pen result in my limited testing, it did not produce one that was worse either. It might have produced a better result if I took the time to optimize the pen settings. Just don't know. But it was as good....just not better while being more comfortable to hold. It also did not exhibit that acute angle offset that I have seen in a youtube vid. Maybe the improvements Sammy has made to the S-pen functionality itself has improved that aspect of use for the Bamboo. Would I pay full list price for it to use it with an N4.....absolutely NOT. There is nothing there that I can see that makes it worth full list....not by a long shot. But I feel like I kinda' lucked out as I really think I would have purchased some sort of additional stylus that I could pocket to use with the N4 and I was happy to get this one at a radically reduced price. I had not seen them discounted anywhere by anybody and this one was discounted because it was open box. At any rate if someone has one and is wondering if it will work....seems to work. Not sure I would be flying out to the store to get one unless you luck into a deal as well.

Speculation...shot in the dark re: Verizon Note 4 Delay

Do you think Verizon postponing the release date of the Note 4 was to give them additional time to unveil the Droid Turbo?

Verizon always releases phones at a later date.

I think its obvious that White won't be available until 10/31 as per the web page. But if they ran out of white, those who first pre ordered early should've at least gotten theirs.

I ordered on 9/22 and my email says 10/23. They changed white to 10/31 a few days ago. Those who ordered them a month ago should still receive them on time, I would hope. Unless they literally got ZERO N4's in stock at all.

People who ordered before that change should definitely get their shipment before 10/31....if not, I will be very disappointed. Talk about a bungled release for Verizon.

Just seems odd that not one person who ordered white has posted about receiving a shipping confirmation. Unless someone does, it looks like its 10/31 for the White

Has anyone had their white versions shipped? Interesting to see if these are just the black phones.

That's what I'm wondering I ordered mine through Edge so I won't see it hit my card. Also when I check the order status using the e-mail I received after I ordered (9/19 around 6 pm) it shows nothing new Verizon did tell me the other day that it would ship on 10/23 so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Ugh!
