Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on Verizon - Preorders, shipping and arrivals

Re: This guy got his Verizon Note 4.

@chuondroid I'm not posting that I have it. I'm linking to a thread of a post on XDA posted by the owner of the Verizon Note 4.

Re: Verizon Note 4 unboxing

No headphones, go figure, granted I don't know if I'd want to pay the extra $50 or so for the quality of headphones that they include with phones.

Re: This guy got his Verizon Note 4.

This is in part what makes the darned case decision so hard...not the tempered glass decision...not struggling really with that one. But this thing is so thin as we can see in the vid...to bulk it up too much seems sinful. I gotta have some protection for it...I don't see running naked as an option but the more I look at photos and especially videos where you can see it against a hand or with something else for reference....it is just so thin...so light...maybe neat is the way to describe it. I just can't see myself trying to bulk it up.

They are OK. I use em while at work since I can fit em in my pocket but I wouldn't pay $50 for them. Also aren't they $30 on the website.

At least Verizon gets the original box lol

I've been going naked with my phones since my s2 and it's been fine.

I'm sure this was a move by Verizon to support their greed. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to sell it as part of a bundle package. Don't be surprised if they stop including chargers with phones.

Re: Verizon Note 4 unboxing

Losing the headphones seems a sensible decision to me. There are more of them sitting in the original boxes than ever get used. I don't see losing the headphones as a step toward losing the chargers and cords. Give me the money and I will decide what headphones I want to buy. Don't need either Samsung or Verizon making that choice. Charger is an entirely different story.

Re: Verizon Note 4 unboxing

yeah this guy just posted on XDA. he probably got an early review unit, since he works for that betanews.com.

but nope, no headphones, and yeah he definietely opened it up before hand and put the battery in. verizon's phones come with the prtoector over the screen and the battery OUT of the phone.

You're not missing anything. I took them out and never used them since I have my own. I know headphones that come with phones won't compare the ones I bought separately lol.

Re: Verizon Note 4 shipping status....

I think "new phone day" should be a holiday in the USA, and no sick or personal leave should be charged. Just sayin.

lol, well they are the same shady corporation that's trying to get the federal government to get rid of net neutrality so I can see them going that route, as well as charging extra for the S-pen.....

I read somewhere about a year ago, that almost all chargers and data cables are becoming universal fit now (except iphone, of course) because soon, they would no longer be included with a new phone. You woukd either have to use one from your old phone or purchase as an extra accessory. I see it as a real possibility. Pay more and get less.
