So, last week i went to my account online to see if i should switch to one of the new even more plans or stay with my old plan. After going through the plan change process online I believe the even more plan ended up being more expensive by $5 or $10. I realized today that I didn't add in the discount for my phone being on the Edge plan so I went back online to walk through the plan change again to make sure my math was right and I go an error message that says I cannot make any plan changes "until my device has been activated". Hopefully this is a sign the shipping will begin soon!

I wish it was a sign! They are KILLING ME with this wait, but according to their site people can still pre-order THROUGH Oct 22 which means I don't think anything is getting shipped until the 23. I pray I'm wrong.

My white Note best not be delayed to 10/31. I preordered, early on day one, and was promised a ship date of 10/23. I had no issue waiting till then but that would ignite my fire.

From what I heard, the 10/31 only applies to those CURRENTLY pre-ordering, NOT people like us who pre-ordered earlier. If that's not true, I'll lose my mind on a Verizon CSR this week. But I don't believe people who pre-ordered in Sept. will have to wait for the white.

I have no issues waiting last of all the carriers. It stinks but it's such a petty thing to complain about. I looked at the black one last night and the back is much more supple, kinda liked it.

Is this correct?
I was just told most Verizon stores will have the Note 4 in store for sale on Oct 23, but if you pre-ordered it will ship Oct 23 with most orders taking 2 business days will arrive Oct 27th.
That means we get the phone later if we pre-ordered it!

Let's hope not. I believe that Verizon will ship them out via 2 day on Tuesday or Overnight on Wednesday for delivery on the 23rd.

I coule be wrong.

I don't think this is true. Most VZW get the phones the day before it's available in store. Interestingly, the website now says "Available 10/23" instead of "Will ship by 10/23".

I don't know how reliable that info is. The website changed from Ship by 10/23 to Available 10/23. I would imagine most pre-orders will get in the day before the store date, just like in the past.

Oh really? I pre-ordered mine at 6am on the first day and I was allowed to make changes to my plan until well, sometime between last Wednesday and today. Darn. I thought I was on to something.

There phones have been packaged for weeks already. No way it's already loaded. I would expect an update waiting for it once activated.

After speaking with a Verizon rep. My current edge plan is once I pay 60%of my phone I can edge up. I was told once you are grandfathered in they cannot change your plan it's only for newbies.
