After speaking with a Verizon rep. My current edge plan is once I pay 60%of my phone I can edge up. I was told once you are grandfathered in they cannot change your plan it's only for newbies.

Yes those that signed an Edge agreement prior to 10/16 are on the 60% plan, but after you Edge up, you'll be under the new 75% agreement. That's what I was told by VZW CS and I've never heard of anyone being grandfathered into an Edge plan

I went yesterday to pick up the note 4 and that's what the Verizon rep told me. Of course they didn't have the phone I had to pre order it.

I don't think this is true. Most VZW get the phones the day before it's available in store. Interestingly, the website now says "Available 10/23" instead of "Will ship by 10/23".

I thought the website was saying 10/31 now. Secondly, just because the website changes dates, it doesn't affect delivery dates of previous orders.

I spoke with a Verizon rep who said my order is set to ship 10/23. I ordered on 9/19 and it's the Frost White. I'm still holding out hope that it will ship Tuesday but I'm doubting it. I'm happy that it's not shipping 10/31 though.

When I pre-ordered (Took advantage of the Samsung $200 back deal for pre-ordering and trading in my old phone)mine on the 12th at the store. The rep who I dealt with said the phone will ship a day or 2 early and should be delivered on the 23rd. I guess its a waiting game as to when they charge my CC and then wait for the shipping email. Oh yeah she also said my CC would be charged a few days before shipping if this helps you get an idea as to when to expect it to your door.

no. they ship 2 days before so you get it release day. same thing that happened with the S5 and any other pre-order. it'll ship the 21st, you'll have it the 23rd.

As of tonight (Sunday) at 8:30PM MST, the Verizon web site says "Will ship by 10/23". If it takes two business days and delivers on 10/27, I'll be out of town.

I visited the local Verizon store today and their manager said he will have Note 4's in the store for sale on 10/23.

There phones have been packaged for weeks already. No way it's already loaded. I would expect an update waiting for it once activated.

I got my Note 4 on Monday but as soon as release day (Friday) hit.. That morning the OTA update popped up. Battery life has rocked since .
