Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Verizon Signal Issues

Hello there, I'm new to this forum.
Anyways, the issue I am having with my phone is that my signal goes from 1 bar to 3 in my house. Sometimes it goes from 3G to 2G then 3G again. Also, if I come out of an area where there was poor signal strength and go into a 4G LTE area, I'm stuck on 3G until I either go into airplane mode then turn it off, or I restart my phone. This temporarily fixes the issue until I go back into a 3G area, where my signal goes from 3G to 2G. What the heck?
I'm running Android KitKat 4.4.4 on the SM910V.
I have attempted factory resets and wiping cache partitions in recovery mode.
Anyone else having this issue? This is really bothering me and I don't want to return it because my phone will be replaced in like-new condition. (I've had bad experiences with this in the past.)

Welcome to Android Central! Are you able to confirm using other phones on Verizon that your signal in your house is otherwise good?

I didn't even move and the signal dropped.

I can't say for sure, but I'd guess there's a hardware problem with the antenna. If I were you, I'd look into warranty repair or replacement. Regarding your concern about "like-new" replacements, consider this--your current phone, which was brand new, has this problem. So how confident can you be that a brand new replacement unit won't also have a similar problem? A refurb unit will have gone through some extra testing, so your chances are pretty good that you'll get a decent replacement. But I understand how you might feel, since you've had a bad experience in the past.
