Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - Which keyboard do you prefer?

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Which keyboard do you prefer?

This is a dumb question, but is the Swype keyboard the only one that lets you swype? That is my preferred way to type now and I find myself trying to do it on non-swype keyboards because it's so much faster.

You can swipe with any keyboard.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Which keyboard do you prefer?

Anyone using L keyboard? I have been using it on the Razr Maxx HD, and i like the "swype" feature.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Which keyboard do you prefer?

You may not be thinking of what Tanooki meant. You can't swipe on just any keyboard.

I have used SwiftKey since it came out. Better than Swype and has lots of options but looking forward to trying stock just because it sounds like it has improved a lot. OTOH, I'll probably stick with SwiftKey because of the cloud sync for phrases and custom stuff among devices...phone and tablet but also from GN3 to GN4...

Somewhere lower in the thread someone mentioned not seeing a number row in SwiftKey. You can set a row or a pad etc...

You can swipe with any keyboard.

I'm using stock now. I used to use Swiftkey on my SIII. The swipe function is doing well on stock, so I'm exploring it now.

I like Google keyboard (personally love HTC keyboard most, but, ya know) and swift key comes in second for customization

Yes the keyboard comes up when you hit a "reply" field. Congrats on the new phone coming your way!

SBarksKY, you need to enable the swiftkey keyboard and select as default first before it will just "pop up". However, after you download and do the install it will walk you through all that.

I'd have to say that swift key is amazing been using it for years tried the others but always prefer swift

In using Stock, I do like other keyboard but I do you one hand operation mode and alot 3rd party keyboards don't support this feature... I'd like to use Google keyboard but don't have this feature and swift key does but the visual part sinks down to much. but If anyone would like to suggest another keyboard with one hand operation feature I'm willing to try

If you use the swipe method of typing the Swype keyboard is the best. The latest update gives it material designs and got rid of all the lag. I have tried Swiftkey many times but it is very inaccurate when swiping so I always go back to Swype.

Whilst the stock keyboard is good, I use SwiftKey for the simple fact that it handles 2 languages (Nederlands and English) better than the stock keyboard.

Kii was the best. But Apple apparently DMCA'd it off the market before I upgraded phones. Using SwiftKey now but would switch back if it came back up. Still have it on my tablet.

SwiftKey, but it sucks for entertaining anything with punctuation. Try typing. Net nope dot net .NET grrr! My email is a terrible test of patience. No quick inputs like the stock samsung and looks like no addition being made for it. I'm still rocking the SwiftKey tho.

Swyper since the beta days when you had to get an invite to try it out. I've tried the rest, paid lots of money over the years for them, and keep coming back to Swype.

I use the stock keyboard .. I think it works well. I would love to be able to theme it

(LG G3) has anyone else had lag issues with swift key lately? Sometimes buttons are unresponsive when I press them.
