Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - Which keyboard do you prefer?

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Which keyboard do you prefer?

This is a dumb question, but is the Swype keyboard the only one that lets you swype? That is my preferred way to type now and I find myself trying to do it on non-swype keyboards because it's so much faster.

Nope: the Stock keyboard, Google Keyboard, Swiftkey, and a number of others can all do swype texting

How is it possible to swipe with the stock Samsung keyboard? I can't make it work? I like the stock keyboard because of having the numbers on the top row.

Go to Setting > Language and Input > Samsung Keyboard > Keyboard Swipe > and check the box that says SwiftKey Flow

Thanks. I figured out why it didn't work for me. I was pressing too hard. You have to be very gentle on the screen. I had chosen the Swipe option.

SwiftKey is still my favorite but I'm really enjoying Fleksy with the chameleon theme. My order of preference is: SwiftKey > Fleksy > Stock > Google keyboard

Has anyone installed Google keyboard on Note 4 Edge?

I installed but it doesn't show up in Application Manager or keyboard options.

I am using APEX launcher - could that be why?:'(

***Now resolved by re-installing and rebooting phone

Fleksy is my preferred kb.

I did use SwiftKey prior to the release of Fleksy and when I swapped over I never looked back.

I also tried minuum and while it was nice to have the added screen real estate I had to teach the keyboard so many things. It got so frustrating that I just went back to Fleksy.

Stock keyboard.. I actually run stock everything on my phone other than the wallpaper of course

Blackberry keyboard, although the latest update doesn't feel as accurate as the previous one.

(The BB soft keyboard from the Priv.)

Jk, I've been using SwiftKey or swiftkey beta for years now. I've tried others. gimmicks are neat but will never replace the predictions I get with SwiftKey.

A1 keyboard for total control over design plus many features. In this area its much better than swiftkey but for prediction swiftkey is best.
I switch between the two
