For owners of pervious Note phones - do any of you prefers cases with kickstands? I'm coming from the smaller S4 and there have been ocassions where I wished I had something to prop up my phone while watching video on the go. Now that I'll have this bigger screen, I think the apeal of having a kickstand will be even greater, especially since I might be choosing to bring the Note 5 on flights rather than my larger tablet. I do have an adjustable "easel" that I carry when traveling, but for everyday it would be nice to have the option built into the case. What have your experiences been with kickstand cases? I just ordered one of the Spigen ultra hybrids too. Won't get here until next week though so I'll be staying nekked for a few more days. So far, so good. The form factor is so great, I really do hate to put a case on it.

Picked up the clear last week before my phone arrived. Nice grip and provides a very slim form factor. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Just wanted to share some live shots on the official Samsung clear case and the Spigen Liquid Crystal cases. Not the best quality pics, but tough to get good shots of thin, clear cases. I'm definitely a fan of both. I'm leaning more towards the Samsung case since it's exactly what fits my needs. Super thin and doesn't cover up those lovely bezels. The Spigen case fits perfectly and gives a nice amount of protection.

I am in a similar boat, I was going to order the black/blue clear case, but found it at a local spring store....I like it, simple, covers the back and corners, but I also have the black speck case. Decisions, decisions!

I got the Flip View cover in black saphire.....it stays flat unlike the others and the 4 corners that attach it provives bumper protection by extending slightly over the edge.

Ordered the Ringke Fusion clear to use temporarily until my UAG arrives, It was the only decent case that I wanted to buy for cheap just to hold me over because I cannot stand to use this device naked and the Ringke case is actually pretty good. Nice fit on the device and the dust covers worked great with the ports on the bottom.

So, I received my Krussel pouch today and man this pouch is big. It's a little snug after putting the phone inside, and I have to really grip the phone for it to come out.

My UAG is being shipped and hopefully will be here very soon, Im pretty pissed it took tjhem this long to get the ball going and now it wont come with the screen protector? Im hoping the case doesnt disappoint. Also ordered the temepered glass, so we'll see

I got this verus case on amazon, the quality is very good,the only downer is the magnet creating a dead spot on your screen.

Yeah, Notes and magnets do not play well together at all.

Verus said supposedly that it takes 48 hrs and it wont cause the dead spot anymore, lol I never heard of anything like that but I'm just keeping it until I get another case then I'll return it.

I had even emailed them before I received it ,if it had the same problem like the notebook 4 one and they said it didn't

Oh this has been a problem since the Note 2. It was discussed on AC when I had my Note 2 and cases with magnets causing this. At one point, many people remade those type cases without a magnet, but used a snap because of this issue.

Anybody dealt with Obliq before? I'm looking at their clear case with the kickstand. I'm gonna get a Note 5 at the end of September when my contract is up. Until then I'm gonna search high and low for a thin case with a kickstand. I'd prefer to get a black case with a kickstand because I don't want the phone to look weird with a glossy case.

Really want the UAG maverick or ash case but both seem to be on backorder or at least not shipping for 14 days. I've used their cases on my last few phones are have become spoiled by their build quality, durability and customer service. I can't find them anywhere who will deliver it sooner.
