Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Cases

No -- I just had the S7 Edge (just sold it this morning on Swappa). I had no issue with my Spigen case on the S7 Edge.

May I ask what you sold it for? And is it easier than eBay? I didn't see any one selling thiers for what I still owe on mine. For that price I'm sure there won't be any takers.

Well I'm not getting the new gun ( s&w hunter pc )after all since this new note is getting that cash . Oh well maybe next year's phone won't be so tempting haha

I went from Spigen to Verus to Ringke, and I think I'll stick with Ringke for the next phone. I've been wanting this case but it doesn't come in Note 5.

I got $530 for mine. It was an unlocked T-Mobile verson with VR since I didn't use the VR a lot anyway. I like Swappa a ton more than e-Bay. The Swappa staff is very helpful.

I'm so super effin scared of these edges breaking. LOL

I have 2 teenage daughters with edge phones. 6 edge Plus and the 7 edge . Both have Spigen cases. They sit on it in their back pockets drop them on the wood floor, concrete, and stairs. No cracked screen. The bumpers will protect the screen.

Guns are a better value. They don't really go out of style and lose much value.

Oh yeah it is expensive. I paid around $400 for my S7 Edge (new from T-Mobile due to a BOGO deal) so it was pretty nice to get what I got.

I've always been naked with all my phones but this one I just may be looking for a case ........ but we will see ??

This is a great thread to shop and obtain opinions for cases. Thank you !!

This is one concern of mine. I work construction so stuff happens...I'm also not nice to my phones, after a year they look like they've been through a war. At a certain point I stop replacing screen protectors and just read through the spider webs of cracks. I wouldn't get $10 for one of my phones after a year...they're nothing I really have any attachment to, they're just a tool for me.

My phones are like my children. I get so attached, and sad when it's time for them to leave the nest. LoL

Tech 21 and Spigen are pretty good case companies for most people. I've been using Spigen Neo Hybrid for my S7 Edge since March but I recently picked up Tech 21 Evo Wallet case which seems pretty protective with its rubber bumpers which should absorb some of the impact when dropped.

After seeing my daughters with their Edge phones . I am not afraid at all. That is with a case on it. With out a case it can cracked or break just as fast as a flat one without a case. It is glass all around the phone. Gorilla Glass! Don't let people get you scared about curved edges. Talk to people that have S6 Edges, S6 Edge Plus, and S7 Edges to get the full story. You can't listen to people that do not like Edge phones, because all you will hear is negative comments. Hear both sides before you make a decision.

If I pull the trigger on the Note I'm going for the VRS Design flip case like I have for my Edge. Inexpensive, fits well, and I like the flip cover vs a screen protector for the edge screen.

VRS Design flip cases are great! I have for my edge as well

I used the Spigen Slim Armor on my LG G4 before I ditched it. Loved that thing.

For the Note7, might go with this one. No official name for it yet, but I think it's the Neo Hybrid.

I'm also tempted by the Slim Armor due to its kickstand, but it might be a wee-bit too bulky.

I wish that Spigen would bring this case back!

I notice a couple cases coming out already. How do the companies make cases for these phones before they're even released? Does Samsung send the companies a dummie model that's the shell of the phone or something? How can they get the exact measurements right?

I presume these companies get the schematics from Samsung so that their cases are made to perfectly fit the device it is made for.

The send the company a dummy phone that looks like the phone being released. When the Note 4 got released Spigen said that they received a model of the phone. Verizon phones was a little different then all other models. The mic holes was a little further then all other Note 4's for At&t and Sprint. They had to send out new TPU's to people.
