After watching the video I think I am really going to give the Iris scanner a try. I have securred files for work that i would like to see if any one else can get to. I will test it with my family when i get the phone Friday!!!

The AC Podcast went into a bit of detail on the iris scanner being an opportunity for early API development, in a way similar to the early fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy S5.

Yes, I am almost 100% sure you can use the fingerprint scanner as a backup to the iris scanner.
