Hey Everyone,
So as everyone knows the note 7 has USB Type - C but what does this offer?
What benefits does this offer to note 7 owners all I know is its reversible haha
thanks

All i have used it for thus far is the fast charging and the smart switch to transfer my data and whatnot. The fast charge is nice but I tend to use my wireless fast charger for my phone and the USB C cable for my note 7s backpack.

Thanks, I love the fast charging its so good and what do you think of wireless charging is it helpful is it worth it as I think paying $99 au is a bit much for something thats just gonna charge my phone

I like it. Its a nice stand for my phone. They call it fast charge but it's just faster than the previous wireless chargers. Charges as fast as a micro USB. Luckily I picked up the wireless charger and the battery backpack for $50 with my Samsung pre-order rebate.

The always on display at night it's great with the edge night display. Not bright but it's clear.

I think USB C is supposed to be USB 3.0 compliant for faster transfer speeds without the larger USB 3 ports.

I just want to know if the cables are more durable than micro-USB so I'm not replacing them every 3-6 months.

I like it. Inserts a lot easier too.
I miss my blue coral. As soon as replacements are available getting back

Really I had my note 3 for 2 years and still had the original charging cable still working fine

That wasn't a regular micro-USB, though. My wife's Note 3 cables lasted longer too, but the regular micros are prone to internal breakage where the cable is connected to the micro plug. Either that, or the locking "teeth" get loose and no longer hold it secure in the phone.
