I ordered the free one floating around the forum. It's the iPulse Journal Series. $30 on Amazon. The seller only requires an honest review. Idk if he's still comping them though.

I got the iPulse leather case too. I've never used a wallet case, so, I'm anxious to try it. Looks great.

When I asked about it, I wad asked to advertise it on social media. I don't even wear print t-shirts. Not a billboard. A free case might be worth it to some, but I felt sketchy about it.

If it makes u uncomfortable, you're definitely doing the right thing. Pass on it. Me? I'd advertise Dawn dish soap if they gave it to me. Yellow gloves and all!

Does anyone know of a wallet case where the actual case part can detach from the unit, so it can work as either just a plain case or a wallet case?

Never thought of it, but it would make it very convenient to use with a car phone cradle/holder too. I was going to get the tech21 but now I think i'll wait to find your idea Marty. I'll post it if I find one.

Thanks for posting that.... the cards coming in contact with the screen is one of the reasons I get the Damda Glide or the Slim Armor CS type of case with the door in the back. If that layer is there then I may just pick up the Tech 21 case to try it out.

Holy Cow it's 55 bones on Amazon. Are they always this pricey? Hoping that price comes down some after launch.....

I use an iPulse leather wallet case for my S8, and have since ordered a new one for the Note 8. Bulk isn't an issue, it's pretty sturdy, and it's genuine leather. $30 on Amazon

I got the iPulse brown leather case from Amazon and plan on using it for travel when I need to have my credit cards handy or have to put my device into my bag for getting through security. The case is quite thin and very well-made. My Note 8 fits perfectly into the rubber casing and all of the buttons and jacks are accessible. I particularly like being able to use the case as a stand for movie-watching on flights.

I got my ipulse wallet case also. Best free case ever. And it's my pleasure to do a review because it's just that nice. I like that the magnet is strong. If u drop it, it doesn't feel like it'll pop open.

Does the magnetic closure interfere with the S-Pen? There is another discussion on this site saying that magnetic closures affect the right side of the screen when using the S-Pen.

I haven't noticed any issues with the magnet interfering with the spen. Hmm. I switched back to my Spigen for now, but I'll try it again in a couple days for you.

I'm looking for a good wallet case, hoping to find one that is not too bulky but still has nice slots/pockets and some space for several credit cards.

I had a cheap wallet case several years ago on one of my older devices and I didn't like it at all.
Do you use wallet cases? what would you recommend?

For now I'm considering the Maxboost Note 8 Wallet Case or the Abacus24-7 Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Case, Leather Wallet with Flip Cover but can't decide.

They have some nice wallet cases with varying degrees of protection & pricing. I ordered the black Noreve' wallet case from them. It is one of the pricier cases, but it's a hand made, hi quality, full grain leather case. It has slots for a 3 cards, cash/receipts underneath & a nice sueded soft inner lining to help protect the screen. It was about $54.00 but they have others that are more reasonable. (I previously bought one of their Noreve' cases before for a gift & the case/quality was exceptional so, decided to treat myself!)
