samsung galaxy note n9005 rooted but no option for update

hi people
i m using samsung galaxy note 3 n9005 .... when i bought it ...it was already rooted....i dont know much about rooting and stuff all i know that it uses SuperSU.... anyhow what i want to ask is that my note 3 does not have software update option...i cant find it when i go to settings>about device.... and its current android version is 4.3
is there anyway i can upgrade to kitkat ??? can anyone help please......i'd be grateful..thanks !!

U have to unroot the phone back to stock then u could update the software through OTA

You can't update a rooted phone (it's dangerous), and if the carrier turned off the update (in Settings/General/About device/Software update) you can't manually request an update, you just have to wait until the carrier pushes one to your phone.

(You don't "unroot back to stock", you either remove all traces of rooting - which is more than just unrooting - or you flash a stock ROM.)

I have same problem, the only way is you need install back official rom. There are not another way for fix it.
