Samsung galaxy p5220-gt 10.1 tablet doesn't boot.

Hello All,

We're using a tab 3 10.1 LTE p5220-gt for work purposes.
Since a few days the tab doesn't boot properly and get's stuck at the samsung logo.
It's a new tab only a week old.

I can still get into the boot menu, and it's possible to restore the factory settings.
The problem is that i need the files on the tab, i can't loose those. These details are important for my job. There are specific appointments in the calendar.

It would be great if someone can help me to get a backup of the calendar.
Or get me back into android so i can note all of my appointments.

The tab is original so no rom or something.

Welcome to Android Central! Were the calendar events associated with your Google account, or with the Device account? It's always best to associate data like this with your Google account, since it automatically syncs, and you won't lose data in situations like this since it's safe in the cloud.

In the Recovery Menu, have you tried wiping the cache partition, then rebooting? This does not erase any personal data.

So i fixed the problem. I've started the tab in odin mode (power+ volume button)
Downloaded odin for samsung, downloaded android version and loaded the .tar with the odin program.

The tab started after that, and i didn't loose any files.
