Hi guys, I am looking forward to root my Samsung Galaxy S Duos : GT-S7562 but unable to do so. Can you please help me with the same. I have tried most things available on the Internet. Can you provide step by step info plus the files that will be required. I have attached screenshot of the device for more information.

Hey! Welcome to Android Central! Okay, before we proceed, are you familiar with rooting? Do you know what it is? Do you know what you are planning to do with root? There are many ways to do things without root, so it is a good thing to answer these questions before you proceed. Rooting will void your warranty and reduce the amount of support you will get from Samsung. If you are okay with Rooting and understand the pros and cons of it, here you go:

I found this thread on XDA that may be of assistance.

Thanks for the help.. I am aware of pros and cons of rooting and will try the link you have provided.. I have tried similar methods before but it had not worked.. I think it was to do with incorrect file and i faced invalid signature issue.. My mobile is over a year old now and so the warranty is void already.. The only thing i will miss out would be on support from Samsung that i feel i am ok with.. Thanks once again :-)
