Samsung galaxy s2 phone locked

[AC Question]

Hi All,
I'm wondering can anyone help me??? i have a galaxy s2(model no: GT-I9100) which i have not used for a long time and i'm trying to get some important personal data from the device. After forgetting my pattern screen unlock code and entering the wrong pattern too many times its asking me to enter using a gmail account to access the device which i don't know my original password. The phone has no internet connection and only goes straight to this log in screen when powered on... every one says the phone has to be flashed but i will lose all data, surely there is another alternative, any help greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you created new Google accounts or changed the password since using this old phone? Perhaps you could bring the phone into the store where you bought it, and see if they can assist.
