Samsung galaxy S3 data usage

Hi,

I have an issue with my Samsung galaxy S3, When I switch off my wifi only my one application (Watsapp) runs using data. I would like all my applications to run off my data? How do you do this?
Ps. I have set all applications to run off either data or wifi.

Mobile Data must be on, WiFi must be off.

That's very strange.
If you have "Mobile data" checked, and you don't have "Limit mobile data usage" checked

then your apps should all be using mobile data whenever WiFi is not available; you don't even have to explicitly turn WiFi off.

On the apps side, "Restrict background data" is off by default, so all apps should use whichever data connection is available, whenever they need to.
