Samsung Galaxy S3 mini battery draining.

Hello everyone.

For a while now the battery life on my S3 mini has been draining pretty fast. I think it has a lifespan of around 10 hours. And I barely use it, usually to check the time, messgae some people through Whatsapp and the occasional 5 min internet browsing. Now please don't be too harsh on me, I'm a complete noob when it comes to phone soft- and hardware.
To elaborate I have made screens of my battery life:





I'm running it on Android version 4.1.2, this is because I've read some other very bad things about 4.2.2 concerning battery. So I'm scared of worsening the problem.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to prolong the battery life?

How long have you had the device? The batter may need to be replaced. Though, getting 10 hours on this device is a little short, it may be improved by adjusting sync times and lowering screen brightness settings to below 50%.

You might want to consider a factory reset and see how battery life acts after a few days. Be sure to backup data before a factory reset.

I think I've had it about 9 months now? Something like that. Screen brightness is usually below 25% so that should be okay.
Question about backup data: Is there a way to store all my text messages? I'm the sentimental type and would like to keep them around

In order for battery life analysis to take place, you need to provide three screenshots: the two that you included along with the Screen details screen. Additionally, the phone needs to start fully charged and end with less than 30% charge, with no intermediate charge cycles.

Your History details makes it seem like there are more Awake events than there are Screen On events. You can use something like Wakelock Detector: http://market.android.com/details?id=com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector to see what may be keeping the phone awake.
