Samsung galaxy s3 navigation orientation problem

When I use Navigation it always stays orientated to North.
So when I'm heading South I have to read the map upside down.
Can't find anything in settings to fix issue?
Can anyone help?

Are you using Google Maps to start your navigation track?
Is your phone normally oriented in Landscape or Portrait?
I have my phone mounted in a car dock, in Landscape, and the navigation track always shows the direction I'm headed as "up", regardless of its cardinal direction.
