AC Question

Hello world,

I come for help with this pesky problem I have. Few months ago I got the message out of nowhere and I have been trying to deal with it since then. I cannot figure out how to fix the "Camera Failed" problem. I have cleaned the cache and data from the application manager, I have also done it for the gallery as well, uninstalled every app that could use the camera, I have cleaned the catch partition in recovery mode, I have factory reseted my phone, I have bought and installed a new camera, updated to 4.4.2 recently and also used third party apps but with no success at all.

PS. The camera's version is 1.5, i am unable to use the code *#34971539# as in to try an update the camera's firmware.

Please help me out on what other options do I have in order to fix this problem. Buying a new phone is not an option at the moment.
Would rooting my phone help?

Please comment any suggestions that might work. ANY help is appreciated.

Thanks for the time.

Open system settings > applications > all (sort by all) camera. From there, clear the camera cache and try opening the camera app and check to see if the issue continues.

Good luck!
