You won't see this phone until the end of the summer. This phone will definitely not be released in June. It takes about a month after the carrier's announcement for a phone to get released and we are still a ways off from that.
Once a phone goes gets approved by the FCC it has to go through carrier branding and testing, then get OEM skinned accordingly. Verizon may take the longest out of the 4 major US carriers to do this.
Let's not forget what happened with the US release of the SGSII. It took 6 months after its release in Europe for the US to see a variant, and it never made it to Verizon.

It never made it to verizon because they got the nexus?Let's not forget what happened with the US release of the SGSII. It took 6 months after its release in Europe for the US to see a variant, and it never made it to Verizon.
There's no way I buy this in Sept. Why wouldn't you wait a few more months for the next Nexus. By that time there'll be a bunch of better phones announced as well.
I have to agree, I would probably just wait until the holidays, when the new generation phones are usually released. I will say that the S3 seems to be pretty future proof. IF it gets updates. To be honest I am sick of the fragmentation on android.
I seriously doubt Verizon gets this phone

September seems right for Verizon, they will once again be the last of the "big four" to release this phone. I am curious however where you got this release date info, you seem pretty certain on that date...
You're exaggerating, quite a bit.

Hey Jaj.. How So? On the Date? or the Wi-Fi / 3G - Hotspot % ? For what its worth 2 wks ago Big Red's S3 had not even passed validiation testing.. that's what a tech told me.. Now, I don't know if the Bloatware testing comes before the LTE Tweaking for their network or they test it all together.. I don't have a clue about the proceedures.. I just hear its not done.. and we have not heard a word about the new tered family shared plans.. You KNOW that info is going to come long before the S3.. Hey, if its a July release thats great.. But knowing Big Red.. I doubt it.. They like to make an entrance to the party.. And if you are talking about the Exynos vs S4 I am leaning towards the Quad-Core / Mali 400 because for the rest of 2012 it will be the fastest chipset on the Planet.. And the flexability of Carrier and Plan options the International Version offers Even though it would mean giving up my Unlimited 4G LTE Since either way I would have to pay full retail for the unit.. Either way I have decided to let everything unfold first.. Hell.. there is a thread here now saying Best Buy may get the International Version as well.. If thats true, they really are expecting this cell phone's sales to explode.....
