Samsung Galaxy S4 Active - change firmware

Hi There, I have purchased a Samsung Galaxy S4 Active from overseas and would like to update to the firmware to an Australian carrier. I've tried to do this via the Kies application but it says that the firmware is uptodate. Is there another way that I can update the firmware on the device?
