Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) reboot loop after lollipop update

Hey!

I use the S4 GT-I9500. The official update arrived here in Germany now (over-the-air).
The update process seemed to go through but then it rebooted and is now stuck in an infinite reboot loop.

I have to mention that I encrypted the device storage before on Kit-Kat.
When the phone reboots it asks for my password, shows the samsung logo (the new one) and then reboots again.

When I remove the SD-Card, my encryption password is not accepted.
When booting in safe-mode the encryption password is also not accepted.
Should I put the firmware on the SD-Card and try to update it again? Or should I try to go back to kit-kat, remove the encryption and start the update process an other time?

Best Regards,

Welcome to Android Central!

You might not be able to go back to Kit Kat after the update. You might have to do a emergency recovery through Samsung Kies to fix it.
