Samsung Galaxy S4 Heat Issue

I understand all the complaints about how hot the phone gets when using it.
But my problem continues after the phone is just resting. When charging the phone, it is still hot. When the phone is off the charger and i am not using, it still is really warm...
Is it just my phone? Should I get a new one?

most likely it has something to do with any of your installed apps.... try searching for any app that may be hanging there, or draining up CPU and battery

No issues with mine.
Try using the Active Apps widget and kill of stray apps that may be hogging up the power.

Thats one of the reasons why I returned mine..along with many others but thats not particularly efficient hardware/software or whatever makes it get so hot.

Its a samsung thing. My S3 does it. The s2 that I use to have had an exynos and didnt do it though so might be because S3 and s4 in usa have quaocomms now when our sammys once were meant for exynos.
