Samsung Galaxy S4 -How to delete "unknown sim card" in Verizon unlocked Galaxy S4, now with T-mobile
I have a Verizon Galaxy S4. It is unlocked and I am now using it with prepaid T-mobile plan. Everything works perfect (voice, sms, internet, etc). However, I still get the annoying "unknown sim card" when i open the notification menu by swiping down from the top on home screen. It's just always there among my other notifications. It does not affect anything, but its just plain annoying.
Does anybody know how to get rid of it without rooting the phone. I read about freezing or deleting the "set up wizard" but, but that requires rooting the phone.
If the answer is "yes, you have to root the phone to delete the Unknown Sim Card" message, will freezing/deleting the "set up wizard" app also stop the other incoming notifications?
Any help would be appreciated.
