Samsung Galaxy S4 - Issues on staying connecting to 4G

I got my S4 from Verizon Thursday and I have noticed my phone reverting to 3G in areas I had no problem connecting to 4G with my Droid Bionic. Not only does it revert to 3G sometimes the 3G is dropping off. I just called Verizon and the only thing they had me check was the Data Roaming options. They immediately jumped to "we can get you a new phone". Seemed pretty quick and rash to jump to that option. Any solutions or things I can check? I really dont want to setup another phone....Thanks

I'm having the same issue on my Samsung Galaxy S4 with Verizon. Thought it was just my device so they swapped me for a new one but I'm still having this issue. I hope someone finds out whats going on. I have the SG3 as well and in the same locations and I dont have an 4G issus. So its not the network.

Same issue here. I have a very solid Verizon 4G LTE service in my area that my old HTC phone had zero problems connecting to and holding. My new S4 though can't stay connected at all. Hoping there is a software fix in the works for this, otherwise I might just return the phone and wait for the ONE which has announced today for Verizon.
