Sorry but I'm new to all this so please bare with me. I'm from United Kingdom and recently got myself a Samsung S4 but from Hong Kong (sent over to UK).
I've tried to update the phone but it doesn't seem to want to due to different reasons.
I've searched the web and not really found any answers so here goes.
When I tried to update via Samsung Kies I get the message saying: -
Your device?s current firmware version is not supported to update firmware by Kies
PDA:MI1 / PHONE:MI1 / CSC:MI1 (XXX)
then I tried using OTA Update Center
but got the message
THE ROM DEVELOPER HAS NOT ENABLED SUPPORT FOR THE OTA UPDATER! Please ask them (kindly) to add support before using this app
(otaupdater.otaid value missing empty or missing)
Have a got a rooted phone without them telling me, has this been locked and not fully usable in the united kingdom or is not recommended to use this phone in the UK and send it back.
