I want to switch to a new phone and was thinking of buying HTC desire 816. But by paying 20% extra i can get a Samsung S4. Please help me to make a decision.

Can you tell us the actual price, as well as your carrier?

Honestly, I don't think I would recommend buying either phone, as there are better phones out there for great prices. But I can help you choose between the two.

If we go on specs, the S4 is definitely the better phone. But factor TouchWiz into the equation, and you have a much less appealing device, IMO. I would still buy the S4, though, as the spec difference is too big to ignore.

Thanks for the reply. I am buying these from a retail shop. The cost would be USD 490 for Samsung S4 and USD 420 for HTC desire 816. What are the better options under USD 500 ? Both in dual sims and single sim phones.
