Model: Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F)
OS: Android 5.0

Problems: No Audio (Microphone Input, Earpiece and Loudspeaker)

Tried:

  • Media and Call using Bluetooth Headset -> Working
  • Making Call -> Tick Loudspeaker -> Not Working (No Sound from Loudspeaker)
  • Video Recording (Using external microphone)
  • Turning the phone on without the 3.5mm Jack Module Connected to the Main PCB; still in Headphone Mode
  • Inserting a headphone; no audio / sound
  • Using SoundAbout -> Rerouting the Sound -> Bluetooth (Working) but Earpiece and Loudspeaker (Not Working)

Is this an indicator of broken Audio IC?

Have you tried booting up in Safe Mode and see if that brings the speaker back to life? You can also run the test menu and see if the speaker test is working or not.
How to access and use the hidden Service Menu on the Galaxy S5 | Android Central

If it doesn't work on any of these, it's quite possible that it's a hardware issue with either the Audio controller or the wiring to each speaker. When making calls, do people hear you or is the microphone also 'busted'?

-Try to reflash your phone. Search a guide on how to reflash your S5 model.

-bring it to some trusted service centre to make them have a look at it.

All minor fixes, I already tried. Hehe. It is not a software malfunction as to my post above. :)

Yeah, if the Test menu fails I'd say it's VERY likely this is hardware-related :( Off to the repair shop it goes!
