I have had the Samsung Galaxy S6 for a week now, Android OS was at the top of the chart - with 1 hour stay awake. I decided to do a reset via SmartSwitch (reflashing the firmware) and it reduced the wake to 30 minutes.
Today I unplugged from the charger and it is now 78%. Android OS is 44 mins, and google services is an hour. SoT is not shown in the battery bit, I would say its been on for 15 minutes.
Phoned up Samsung, they said it is a hardware issue and I need to return it - but it will take 5 days
I really want to keep the phone, why is it this bad? Is there an issue with the software?
