Android Central Question

Sm g925t Android 7.0 black.

I will turn on wifi and it will connect. But after 2 minutes it will just disconnect. The wifi switch will stay on and it will see the network. If I wait 10 minutes it will reconnect. Then disconnect after 2 minutes again.

The smart network switch is off, I have turned off searching for wifi when it's off(the accuracy thing), I have cleaned the cache partition, I have rebooted time and time again, safe mode did not help, no third party apps are affecting it.

Please don't ask anything because something is wrong with my browser so I can't reply.(don't ask about this either)

Well, hard to debug if we can't ask follow-up questions, so the only thing I can think of is to check that WiFi is not set to turn of during Stanby or that you have an app manager or battery manager that might be killing WiFi for power saving.

Now for the part you don't want just because it's necessary: Questions!
1) Does it happen with any WiFi network or just one? If it's just one, it might be that your router or the specific network IS kicking you out.
2) Have you tried turning BT off? Samsung chipsets sometimes go bonkers with certain routers if both WiFi and BT are on at the same time.
3) Have you tried forgetting the network and re-adding it?

1 just my network

2 Yes it's off

3 yes

If it only happens with your network, then it might be either something wrong with your router or it might not work correctly with your phone (like I said, some Samsung devices are known for not playing nice with some routers).
