Android Central Question

so, my dad just bought few of the fantasy wireless chargers for him and me, but it worked fine for him(I don't recall which phone he has, but it's not samsung), and it doesn't work for me(neither of them) with samsung galaxy s6. IK I have that option since far back(like 2 years ago) some big company placed a "smart bench" in front of my school, and it solary powered phones either over USB or wireless charger. I came and wanted to charge my phone, started putting it on the charger, when some kids sitting there just told me it doesn't work, thinking it was broken, but their phones just didn't support wc. I put it on it, it worked, and I just took my phone and walked away victoriously(I chose to flex instead of actually charge my phone once they told me that). It was few years before, and my phone was factory reset couple of times since then and on servicing, so it is possible it broke meanwhile, but I doubt, expectialy since charger does notice the phone and change it's light to blue. it's just the phone that's causing the problem. Also, I saw somewhere on the internet there should be a fast wireless charging option in advanced battery settings, but I don't have one, only fast cable charging, and battery usage surveilance option.

Welcome to Android Central! Wireless charging can sometimes be a little finicky in terms of how you place the phone on the charger -- move the phone around slowly on the charger to see if you're just missing the sweet spot.

If it doesn't work, then go to your local Starbucks and try the wireless chargers there (if they still have them) as a test to see if the wireless charging on the phone is still functional. Those are Powermats (not Qi), but the S6 is compatible with both standards.
