Samsung Galaxy S6 recovery mode does immediate "No Command"

I have a sprint Samsung galaxy S6 that looks to be in a reboot/reset loop. So I tried going to recovery mode so that I could do a cache wipe, or at worst do a factory reset. But when I do, it immediately displays: "! - No command", and nothing gets it away from that, except a reset which just gets me back to the reset loop.

any ideas? Thanks!
