Samsung Galaxy S7 Battery Life Problem

I got a Galaxy S7 Exynos about 3 weeks ago and have noticed the battery life has been draining pretty quick compared to what I have been reading in reviews about the phone. Yesterday I got about 4 hours screen on time with GPS off, mobile data off, Bluetooth off, and WiFi on. I have checked the battery usage and it seems to be mostly the Screen and Snapchat but even so it still seems abnormal. Could I have a virus on my phone? Could I have a defective battery and how can I check?
Thanks

Try turning off the Always on display and setting the screen to auto dim stopped mine from chugging it even then thought sounds like a rare bad battery at worst case scenario

Yeah thanks for the reply I've already turned the always on display off and it doesn't seem to make much difference and my screen is at 40% to 50% brightness anyway so I don't suspect that's the problem.

Seems to be fairly heavy drain.. Maybe a faulty battery.
You could try a scan if you suspect malware but I doubt it is. I'm a heavy user and I get nearly a day out of mine...

How could I check if it's a faulty battery? Can I run any tests on my phone or do I have to take it to Samsung?

4hrs of screen on time, ok. But how long was the standby time? Is it dual sim? How is the signal? I'd like to see GSAM graphs.

Me too. Can't seem to get past 4 hours of SOT even with setting GPS off and denying most of my apps permission to access location.

I'll have to wait a while to get you some GSam Graphs but the phone usually has about 2 bars upwards and it is not dual SIM and a lot of the time I have it on it is not on standby.
