Samsung Galaxy S7 Microphone disappeared, help!

Hi there, any help is greatly appreciated. About a month ago the mic disappeared .
from my keyboard--I cannot voice-to-text anything on emails or messages. It is no longer in the gear, I have gone through setting up the keyboard and the option does not exist for voice input to turn on or off, there is text-to-speech but not the other way around.

I wanted to uninstall the keyboard and try reinstalling, but I don't seem to be able to figure it out. Maybe is not an option? It says that I have the latest version of the keyboard so it won't let me upgrade.

Mine is doing the same thing but I have a J7 perx... have you gotten it back? Very bummed it's gone. I do a lot of texting and emailing on phone and very busy and this option made it so much easier.
