Samsung Galaxy S8+ Battery Drain?

I just it the Samsung Galaxy S8+ and it seems like my battery is draining faster than normal. For example, I started using my phone at 9 AM at 100% off and on and by 5 PM it was at 40%. Then now for example i went to sleep at 10 PM with my battery at 100% and when I woke up my battery was at 85%.

Is anyone experiencing this?

That seems strange. I watched some YouTube videos recently showing the S8 destroys the iPhone 7 plus in heavy usage scenarios.

Log off Facebook when not using it. Also, when you experience drain like this, reset your phone.

Yes I am experiencing the same issue. I have sprint though and unfortunately I bought the phone the weekend it came out and having a lot of issues returning it. I am completely unhappy with this phone. I am trying to switch to the rotten apple iphone7. I've always been a samsung person. But honestly this phone drives me crazy. The charger is also very cheap.

Can you hear that? God I hate sprint!

My S8 went from loading %2to %4 of power overnight to over %25 overnight. What the heck. The only thing I noticed is that the power consumption seemed to go crazy after I downloaded Oculus. As I got the free gear vr. I had battery issues on my s7 because ou the Oculus app to. Not worth the tradeoff. But o prefer they FIX THE DAMM THING.

I honestly don't think that looks too bad

You should check your app settings. Some of them, e.g., Google Play Newsstand, social media and other news apps, are set to keep updating in the background, even if you've never set them up. This means they're draining your battery while you're not using them. I even have the email app set to be refreshed manually. When the screen is off, battery use should be minimal.

i'm having issues with the battery life to, in 3 hours im loosing 25% of the battery and just in stand by, and i have the nfc and bluetooth disable all the time
