samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 battery charging/draining really fast

[AC Question]

I recently broke my samsung charger for my galaxy tab, so ive been using my ipod one, until the replacement came.
At first it was fine then, after a couple days, i realized that it was charging really fast, like from 1% to fully charged in about ten minutes.
It was draining at the same rate.
I thought this might be because of the charger so i stopped using it.
Today my replacement arrived and i plugged in my tablet, only to find that the exact same thing happened.
Does this mean the battery is busted or is there any way to fix this??

*edit* when i said fully charged, i lied.
actually its goes to 99% then stays...??

I think one of the pins became damaged when the Apple charger was plugged in, thus creating the fast charging and discharging.
