Updated mine, at firat it was getting too hot then I did a factory reset it fixed the issue, it consunes a lot of ram, dont know if it's normal, but its pretty fast, can have multiple useres, so I have one for personal use one for my office, will twll you how it goes
Using my tab with Kitkat 4.4.2 for the last 4days. Here are my observations:
1. Not much difference in the homescreen from 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
2. As usual, samsung has added even more bloatware. Thankfully you can disable them.
3. For app crashes, I would suggest re-setting the tab.
4. Noticed improvement in mobile network signal which is good coz it means less battery consumption.
5. Definitely consumes a lot of RAM. But it can be solved by disabling bloatware and some unnecessary apps.
6. Multi-User feature is a nice addition.
7. New samsung keyboard looks refreshing.
8. Some key apps like Polaris Office, which comes pre-loaded, can now be updated without waiting for firmware upgrade.
9. Cached data can now be cleared from storage tab in settings.
10. Played Asphalt 8 offline as well as online. Didn't face any lag or other issues.
11. Seems whatsapp is incompatible with tablets in Kitkat. You can sideload it by downloading the apk on your tablet from the whatsapp website.
12. Came across apps called Ant radio service and Ant plugins service. No clue what they are for. Would appreciate if someone shares some light on them.
These are few of my observations uptil now. More to come later.
