Samsung galaxy tab 3 turning of when plugging

My tablet is samsung galaxy tab 3 10.1 GT -P5200. It runs on android kitkat and originnally came with jellybean. I have factory reset the device. Ive been using it for aroud 3 or 4 years.It worked fine till last year. From this years begining it only happened few times. But since this monday it happens every time i plug in when battery is low than 50. Once turned off when plgged in and turned on again it has battery level of around 1 percent and when charging if i accidently removed the cable and plugged it again it wont turn off
