Updated my tablet a few days ago. Since the update the device is constantly rebooting approximately every 5/ 10 minutes. Any suggestions as to how I can stop this happening would be appreciated.

Do you have any side-loaded apps? If you boot in safe mode, does it reboot constantly as well?

My tablet has been a nightmare since the update. When in sleep mode it restarts on its own. When I come back on it it no longer has fingerprint recognition and instead forces me to key in password but screen turns off before it allows typing in. Once on it it randomly freezes on chrome and eventually restarts which then leads back to the password problem. Is there a way to roll back to previous system? At least it was steady even if the battery is draining very fast and goes down in about 3 hours of use. And won't charge whilst using it...
Galaxy Tab s used to be a joy until the latest Android update!

I am having this problem as well. Have cleared cache and factory reset (multiple times). This hasnt solved the problem. I thought this might be an issue with the Google Play Store, as it generally crashes as soon as I run this (as the first thing I do after the reset) - so after one of the resets I downloaded the latest playstore APK and installed it. Also did not login to the play store in case this was corrupted or something. Have tried this without loading ANY apps other than the stock that comes after the reset - but still the issue persists.

(edit : all of the above has been done with the SD card removed - and with full charge)

Generally it crashes as soon as I try and run any app so was thinking this was the launcher or something.

Anyway, other than throwing this away and buying a new one - am not sure what the next step to solve this is. (Maybe revert to previous Android?)

Hope you get it fixed. I was looking forward to the update. Not sure now.

No issues on mine after the update. Actually battery has been a tad better (not by much, though, just barely).

Actually, this is doing this less than every 5 minutes. Having tried everything, am down to the theory of hardware fault - specifically the battery. After the last update (which failed half way through) I had big problems with battery life and the tablet got (and still gets) quite hot. I am thinking something in the new update might have put extra stress on the battery, which after a few weeks has caused it to fail.

Is this possible, and is there anyway in logs etc to tell if this is hardware or software?

It could be software, as generally the crash happens the instant I try and open an app or go to settings etc...

please help me, when i upgrade my T805 to marshmallow, my tablet hanged and when i press power+home+volume down, a black screen appeared that in center android logo showed and downloading.....
what can i do?
