Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 software update today, still 4.2.2

Today I received a 101 MB software update. Was hoping it would be Lollipop, but unfortunately it wasn't. Still 4.2.2 son not sure what the update change was.

I think it made the whole UI a lot smoother. But it may be just me..

Got mine a few days ago and it immediately downloaded and installed 4.4.2

No it shouldn't. It's just a build number with bug fixes and improvements.

Good news after all. The initial rooting method still works. All you have to do is to re-root it again.Cheers !
