Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Flickers when off and charging.

My tablet used to show the battery icon while it was off and charging, as it should. Now, it no longer shows the battery while off and charging. Instead the screen flickers between "off" and "on", repeatedly. I'm abit worried. I've had it for two years and it has worked beautifully. I hear it could be a charging port issue, i've no idea.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried a different cable and/or wall charging plug?

Thank you. I have about 6 different cables. Only one is the official samsung cable....perhaps I should test each cable and write down what happens. It flickers with the unofficial chargers. So, maybe it is the charger.

And 4 wall chargers. Only one is the official samsung wall charger. I love hoarding cables and chargers........and earphones.....Well then, I know what I must do tomorrow after I get off work.

NEVRMINNNNNNND. It was the cable.....case closed. Official cable and official port work and I can see the battery icon. What can I say....I don't know much about tablets or phones....or technology in general....
