Samsung Galaxy Watch 3: How to get ECG features-not in USA

Hello everyone!

I didn't see a category for Samsung Galaxy Watch 3,so maybe i am the first one.

I don't live in USA or South Korea where the ECG and blood pressure ability's have been "activated". It's the only reason I actually bought it, because i assumed, there are pretty savvy techies out there, that can find a work around.

Has anyone found a way to activate these features, ecg and blood pressure in non-USA and Korea countries??

Yeah, XDA had it sorted months ago. You have to install a modified Samsung health app on your phone as well as your watch, which is why I haven't done it.

Thanks for the feedback, fuzzylumpkin. I had posted the same question on another site, and they pointed me towards a youtube video, and in the comments below, the poster, added a link to a google drive, that had an apk for the file required. I downloaded it, and " voila!" It worked fine for me. The link to the youtube video with link to apk files is:

Yeah, that's my issue with it. I'm pretty reticent to install random apk files from random Google Drive links.
