I love the "raise your arm and the display comes on" feature, but how can I turn it off at night? It wakes me up when I have this bright light in my face. If I disable it, it is disabled in the daytime also. My watch knows that my phone is on "do not disturb" at night, but apparently the display is not controlled by "DND".

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the 1st gen Galaxy Watch forum to the Watch4 forum.

Welcome to Android Central forums. I have the Galaxy watch 4 and never thought about this. I guess sleep pretty good because I've never been woken up by the watch. In the meantime I Googled your question because I had no idea, and Google Says it can't be done. I don't know if Google would know or suggest things like using routines, Assistant or Bixby, for things like this but that is the only way I could think of to do it and that's only if the watch can run routines.

Gemini.

There isn't a way to toggle the "lift to wake" feature on a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic on a schedule, but you can customize the wake screen settings. You can choose which motions wake the screen and how long it stays on. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
How to customize wake screen settings [1]

  1. Go to the Home screen
  2. Swipe up
  3. Scroll down and select the Settings symbol
  4. Scroll down and select Display
  5. Scroll down and select Raise wrist to wake or Touch screen to wake
  6. Scroll down and select Screen timeout
  7. Choose an option
  8. Choose Show last app
You can also change the wake screen settings on the Galaxy Wearable app. [3]
How to turn on the screen [2]
You can also turn on the screen by tapping the screen or pressing the Back, Home, or Power key. [2]

You can also watch this video to learn how to enable or disable the "raise to wake" feature on a Samsung Galaxy watch:

Best wishes.

Thanks for Googling it, VidJunky. Since apparently there is no way to do what I want, I'll either have to just live with it or maybe put it on the charger at night.
