Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 w/Android 10

Hi all. Wanting to pick up the new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2, but have been reading a few conflicting reports about the ability of the watch and/or Galaxy's Wear app having issues on Android 10. I'm running Android 10 on a Google Pixel 2. Can anyone confirm/deny the ability of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 and the Galaxy Wear apps to work with my setup? Thanks!!
