AT&T Galaxy S8 Samsung Gallery App - what is this icon?

In the default Samsung Galaxy Gallery App, some of my pictures I have saved to the phone have an underlined upwards pointing arrow in the upper right corner of the thumbnails... what is this? How do I get rid of it?

I think that's a cloud service icon. Check what photo services or cloud apps you have and see the gallery settings to see if they are set to Backup but not automatically, my guess is that there is one of those cloud services active but limited to sync via wifi only or something and hasn't done it. Click on that icon to see if it does something.

It's for Samsung's cloud backup service. I think it does that if it isn't backed up. See if it's turned on for you. Mine is turned on and I don't see the icon. I have before, though.
